Through challenges and trials in life, these really test your love for yourself, and for other people. Walking away from the challenge and not facing it is so easy. In the moment of challenges, it is the easiest exit next to pain but little as we know in the future, that challenge we walked away from probably led to even more challenges and possibly severe consequences. Through challenge, when you face it, and embrace it.... you can find love and happiness. You will also see who truly cares and who you can really trust. Who you can rely on and who sincerely worth your energy to a relationship/friendship.
When you are hurt by someone else, you as the victim is always left with a scar. Just like how a dog bites you, the dog can walk away and may feel bad but the person who got biten by the dog is left with a scar that he/she will always remember the pain and the incident. Once you overcome a challenge, you will get immunity, and relationship will only become stronger. Commitment is needed in order to achieve this end goal.
Forgiveness is not an easy thing to do. When it is given, it certainly takes a lot of courages and selfless sacrifice. Finding hope in despair, turn bad into good - cannot be done easily. It is only through serious challenges when you are given a true chance to get this out. To test your ultimate strength and your emotional feelings. Last but not the least, it tests your mental ability.
Have you ever asked yourself what is real happiness? Real happiness
doesn't mean being estatic every minute. Rather, it means even though you've
been through painful moments, they have made your life meaningful. They have
enriched your life. This is real happiness.
Reflect and looking back at my past year, I cannot believe the amount of trauma and challenges my family has faced. My friends and relatives who walked with me through it too. However, to this date, I am grateful for all I have. It is through the gazillion of challenges that I get to know myself even more, see people (family members, relatives, friends, colleagues etc..) who I can really count on, and appreciate even more things that money cannot buy.
